Luckily for Irvine and most of Orange County residents, the holiday season comes with an endless amount of fun activities and events.
While many of the fun things to do are located in Orange County, there are also many must-do activities in nearby Los Angeles, which is just a short drive away!

EXPERIENCE NETFLIX’S STRANGER THINGS
Look, if you haven’t watched Stranger Things before, then the first thing you need to do is switch on the TV and get started. The hit show is considered must-see TV for a reason.
If you’ve already seen it, then welcome to the fan club!
Located about 45 minutes away from Irvine in downtown Los Angeles, visitors of the Stranger Things pop-up event get to go back to the ’80s for an eventful drive through Dawkins, the show’s primary setting, and all of its most famous locations like Startcourt Mall and the Upside Down.
If you’re a fan of the show, this is a must-do event this Halloween.
The good news is that the event will be open until the end of October, so if you haven’t been able to watch the show yet, you have some time!
THE 2020 TANAKA PUMPKIN PATCH!
Open September 19th through October 31st!
Pick your own pumpkin right out of the pumpkin patch! Tanaka Farms is one of the only farms in Orange County with a REAL pumpkin patch! They're going to set it up a lot different from the years past and they've been working extremely had to make sure that they provide a fun and safe experience for every attendee. Make sure to reserve your spot!

They are 2 options this Year:
1) The Drive-Thru Pumpkin Farm Experience runs every Saturday and Sunday from September 19th through October 31st.
2) The U-Pick Pumpkin with Wagon Ride runs Monday through Friday from September 21st through October 30th.

URBAN LEGENDS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Open every week, Wednesday through Sunday, the super fun and scary Urban Legends of Southern California will run until November 1st this year!
The haunted housed located in Costa Mesa is taking notes from many other popular haunted houses this year and adopting a drive-through format.
The 45-minute haunted drive-thru features terrifying sets, storytelling fun, and live performances as they pass through five different haunted areas that tell the tales of Southern California’s scariest urban legends!
FRIGHT FARMS HALLOWEEN DRIVE-THROUGH
Choose between a terrifying journey through Fright Farms or the not quite as scary family adventure, Not So Spooky Farm.
Fright farms, the much scarier of the two, takes you to the spooky town of Hilldale while clues and directions will be broadcasted to you through your car radio and as pop-ups on your phone so that you can help find a missing person!
Not So Spooky Farm, the family-friendly drive-through takes you on a similar adventure, but without too much of the scariness!
The event will run from October 26th until November 29th at the SilverLakes Complex in Norco, just a short 30-minute drive from Irvine.
