Walking through the neighborhood, you will see gorgeous, character-rich styles including Colonial, Georgian, French Country, and Craftsman architecture, complete with detailed brickwork, timeless siding, and grand front porches.
Columbus Square has a fascinating, historic past—it is built on the grounds of the former Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) El Toro. Before it became a beautiful residential neighborhood, this exact land served as a major hub for U.S. military aviation from World War II all the way until the base officially decommissioned in 1999.
